Music and Movement

Join Ms. Abby on Zoom for this energizing program that helps get kids up and moving while also helping them develop motor and listening skills. Music & Movement Activity Bags will be available at the library. The bags feature fun items like scarves, shaky eggs, and ribbon wands that children can use during the program. Parents can also create their own manipulatives to use. Please contact the Children's Department for Zoom Login information.

 

Wee Ones Storytime

Join us on Facebook Live for a story and a few songs, during this short 10-15 minute Storytime.  Visit the kids page afterwards to find related at-home activities.

Kids Book Club to Go

Each month a copy of the selected book will be available for pick-up at the library, along with discussion questions and related activities. Supplies will be limited, and the book is the child’s to keep. Kids can also join us on the last Wednesday of each month for a book discussion via Zoom.

Virtual Minecraft Meetups

Ready to play Minecraft with other people? A virtual Minecraft meetup, using an audio only Zoom meeting, will be held monthly this fall! This meeting will use the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft; This is the version Windows 10, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Android and iOS all use. Email Ms. Abby, abby.lowe@barbertonlibrary.org with your Xbox Console Companion Name to be able to play and for log-in information. Space is limited. This program is intended for children ages 8-13 years old.

 


Tween Programs

Middle School children in grades 4-8 can join in online anytime for a variety of entertainment, including games, projects, and other creative activities. Visit our website, or click any Tween Tuesday listed on the library online calendar for more details.
