Donating to the Local History Room
Donating to the Local History Room:
Much of the Local History Room artifact collection has come to the library because of the generous donations of our patrons. In keeping with the area of focus of the Local History Room to collect, preserve, and display information relevant to the history of Barberton, the Local History Room welcomes donations of materials or artifacts directly pertaining to Barberton’s history.
Examples of materials and artifacts within the scope of the Local History collection include items pertaining to Barberton schools, industries, or other groups/associations, family histories, photographs, and other Barberton memorabilia. The Local History Room also accepts monetary donations to be used to fund special projects related to preserving or displaying historical materials and artifacts.
