The Community Health Library – CHL – is the place to find health information!

 

 
Located on the first floor of Summa Barberton Hospital, CHL has a wide variety of books on health. Would you like to find information about coping with cancer, nutrition during pregnancy, or the definition of hypertension? We have the resources to answer these questions and many more.
 
DVDs are another way to discover more about health. Learn yoga, pilates, or bellydance through our selection of instructional videos, or watch a documentary on depression or autism.
 
Other health resources available include audiobooks, magazines, pamphlets, and online databases. A reference librarian is on hand to assist you in finding information.
 
CHL is not just about health – it’s also about entertainment! Stop in next time you’re at the hospital to browse our collection of new movies and magazines. Check your email or browse the internet on our computer. 
 
All of these resources can be utilized with a Barberton Public Library card or any Clevnet library card. You can sign up for a card at CHL.
 
Other services of CHL include:
            After-hours bookdrop
            Print from the computer ($.10 per page)
            Request items from the Main Library to be picked up at CHL
            Return items from both branches at either location
            Request items from other Clevnet libraries
